Wow. This is a visually stunning piece-- the tight crop on the eye is nice, as is the extremely limited depth of field. The contrast between the black pupil and the white eye/fur is striking. Cat eyes tend to be a severely over-done subject matter-- and one that I'm really quite tired of-- but I found myself really loving this piece anyway. It looks like you probably grayscaled much of the image for that pure black/white look, but some of the warm tones around the eye keep the image from overwhelming simplicity.

I feel like the focus could have been sharper on more of the eye-- even taking the limits of a macro shot into account, it would probably be possible for the focus on the iris to extend beyond the bottom of the near side. Nevertheless, I really like this piece. Nice work!
